University of Wyoming senior running back Brandon Miller will miss spring football due to an injury.

Coach Dave Christensen confirmed Monday through UW’s sports information staff that Miller “suffered in an injury in an accident” recently. The accident was non-football related.

Christensen does not disclose injuries on specific players, but it is believed to be a broken arm.

Miller was the Cowboys’ second leading rusher last season with 352 yards. He ran for one touchdown.

Miller also played some at receiver and caught 30 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns. Miller has split time at running back and receiver in 2011 and played seven games as a receiver in 2010.

For his career, Miller has rushed for 738 yards and three touchdowns and caught 50 passes for 508 yards and three touchdowns.
