Burns Broncs

CHEYENNE – Senior Aaron Thiele scored a game-high 22 points to help No. 1-ranked Buffalo to a 71-39 victory over visiting Burns on Saturday.

The Bison (7-2) also got 18 points from Luke Glassock and 14 from Dawson Hatch.

“They shot the ball really well in the first half,” Burns coach Sean Patterson said. “We contested a lot of shots, but they elevated over the top of us and shot 60 percent.

“The third quarter was better for us offensively. It was a good experience to get to play them.”

Senior Jack Ickes scored seven points and grabbed six rebounds for the Broncs (2-9). Junior Kaden Lakin added 10 points.
