CHEYENNE – Freshman Tate Bishop scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough for Burns in a 66-41 loss Saturday at Torrington.

The Broncs trailed 15-10 after the first quarter, but Torrington broke the game open by outscoring Burns 21-12 during the second frame.

“We had some turnovers that led to some easy offense for them,” Burns coach

Sean Patterson said. “We played good defense overall and competed hard for rebounds.

“We also did a good job of reversing the ball and getting ourselves some looks, we just need to make more of them.”

Senior Alex Pyle scored 13 points for Burns (2-18 overall, 0-5 Class 3A Southeast Quadrant).
