LCCC’s Meredith named 2nd team All-American

Laramie County Community College sophomore midfielder Faith Meredith was named a National Junior College Athletic Association second team All-American on Thursday. The former Cheyenne Central standout scored 16 goals and added a team-high 11 assists in 19 starts for the Golden Eagles (15-2-2 overall, 10-0 Region IX), and appeared in the NJCAA national tournament last month in Melbourne, Florida.

Meredith’s 16 goals were second-most on the team, including a team-best five game-winners. She also was named to the NJCAA all-tournament team.
