CHEYENNE – The Cheyenne East boys golf team finished third at the Class 4A state tournament on Saturday at Three Crowns Golf Course in Casper.

The Thunderbirds needed 683 strokes to get around the course twice, while Sheridan won at 258. Jackson was second at 670. Cheyenne Central too fourth (685).
