Saddle bronc rider Brody Cress, a 2014 Cheyenne East graduate, recorded a no-scoring on the back of Bar T Rodeo’s Lady Vain during the sixth round of the National Finals Rodeo on Tuesday night in Las Vegas.
The 22-year-old has registered a no-score in five of the six rounds at this year’s Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association’s year-end event.
Cress is now 12th in the world standings with more than $121,587 in earnings.
Cort Scheer and Zeke Thurston split the go-round win, scoring 89.5 points apiece.
Other go-round winners Tuesday included: Ty Breuer (bareback riding); Curtis Cassidy (steer wrestling); Tyler Wade and Cole Davison (team roping); Cooper Martin (tie-down roping); Hailey Kinsel (barrel racing) and Dustin Bouquet (bull riding).
