Laramie High long-distance runner Libby Berryhill had a strategy and stuck with it from start to finish Friday to win the Prairie View Invitational in Cheyenne.

The senior continued to gradually pull away from the rest of the pack and finished with a time of 18 minutes, 51.63 seconds, almost 22 seconds ahead of Natrona County’s Delilah Baedke, who timed in at 19:12.28 for second place.
