Lady Plainsmen

The game was tight throughout with the score tied at the end of the first and third quarters.

Cody outscored Laramie 14-10 in the final quarter.

The Lady Plainsmen were led on offense by sophomore Kayla Vasquez and freshman Janey Adair. Both players scored eight points, with six of Adair’s points coming on two 3-pointers.

Senior Jennifer Aadland added five points and a team-high 12 rebounds for LHS.

Cody got nine points and a game-high 15 rebounds from University of Wyoming commit Paige Powell. Powell transferred to Cody this season after playing Class 1A basketball for Encampment the past three seasons.
