Several Laramie High football players were recognized for postseason honors by the Wyoming Coaches Association. The all-conference selections were released on Sunday and the all-state selections on Monday.
Senior wide receiver Janson Adair was second team All-State and first team All-West Conference at wide receiver. He was also second team All-West Conference at defensive back, honorable mention All-West Conference as a kick return specialist and a honorable mention All-West Conference at large selection on defense.
Adair led the Plainsmen — and was ranked third in Class 4A — at receiver with 35 receptions for 580 total yards and six touchdowns with a long of 60 yards. That was an average of 64.4 yards per game and 16.6 per reception.
He also had 16 kickoff returns for 408 total yards (25.5 per return) for fifth in 4A, including an 89-yard touchdown. He led the Plainsmen with 1,007 all-purpose yards for an average of 111.9 per game.
Defensively, Adair led the Plainsmen and was third in 4A at safety with 158 defensive points (17.6 per game). He tallied 87 total tackles (38 assisted, 47 solo) to go with two tackles for loss, two interceptions, five pass breakups and a defensive touchdown.
Other All-West Conference selections for LHS were: senior Calvin Webb as second team offensive and defensive line, senior Jamen Livingston as second team defensive line and honorable mention offensive line; junior Colter Nunn as second team running back and linebacker; junior Isaac Sell as honorable mention at large on offense (running back); and junior David Tangeman as honorable mention at kicking specialist.
Nunn led the Plainsmen rushing 65 times for 360 total yards (40 per game) with four touchdowns. He was second on the team, and 11th in 4A, with 107 defensive points (11.9 per game) at middle linebacker with 74 tackles (46 assisted, 28 solo) and a fumble recovery.
Sell was second on the team at running back with 44 carries, 317 total yards (35.2 average) and three touchdowns.
Tangeman had 30 kickoffs, 10 of those for touchbacks, one inside the 20-yard line, was 1 of 2 in field-goal attempts with his made field goal at 40 yards and 17 of 20 for extra points.
