The Green River boys basketball team gave Laramie all it could handle — and then some — Thursday in the opener of the Taco John’s Invitational at Plainsmen Gym.

The WyoPrep’ No. 4-ranked Plainsmen (7-0) stayed as one of two Class 4A undefeated teams when they escaped their own court with a 52-49 win against the feisty Wolves in the second game of the girls and boys doubleheader.
