CHEYENNE – Senior Kammie Ragsdale scored 29 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out six assists to help No. 3-ranked Pine Bluffs to a 56-45 victory over Big Horn in the semifinals of the Class 2A East Regional on Friday evening in Gillette.

Senior guard Torri Long chipped in with 11 points for the Lady Hornets (18-4 overall), who face Southeast in the final at 6:30 p.m. tonight.

Wheatland 53, Burns 47

CHEYENNE – Sophomore Jaden Gipfert scored 15 points, but it wasn’t enough for Burns during a 53-47 loss to visiting Wheatland on Friday night.

“It was a great game by both teams, but Wheatland made more shots than we did,” Burns coach Barry Ward said.

The Bulldogs led 31-30 at halftime.

Freshman Rylee Ward scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Lady Broncs (5-16 overall, 0-6 Class 3A Southeast Quadrant), while senior Malli O’Neal netted nine points and pulled down nine boards.

Danielle Brow scored a game-high 27 points for the Bulldogs (8-12, 3-3).
