Adult fall league: The City of Cheyenne Community Recreation and Events Department is currently registering teams for its adult fall basketball league.

Registration ends Sept. 10. Games are scheduled to start Oct. 7.

Registration packets are currently available from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Kiwanis Community House, 4603 Lions Park Drive, or online at

The team fee is $400. There also is a $20 per player fee. All fees must be paid in full at time of registration. For more information, contact Scott at 307-637-6423.


Capitals registration: Registration for the Cheyenne Capitals under-8 teams ends Oct. 7.

Women’s team: The Cheyenne Lady Outlaws women’s rugby team is looking for players for the upcoming season.

The team welcomes all women 18-99 years old, regardless of their fitness level or rugby experience.

Anyone interested in playing can drop by practice at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at Forum 619, 619 S. Greeley Highway.

CWC Thunder registration: The Cheyenne Wrestling Club Thunder youth organization has started registering athletes for the 2019-20 season.

The registration fee is $150, and includes the winter and spring seasons. Registration is capped at 75 athletes.

Practice starts Oct. 21.
