LCCC’s Bernard Girard wins tie-down in Riverton

Wyoming’s Houston Brown – a former LCCC standout – won saddle bronc riding with 155 points on two rides. His 80-pointer during the finals was the highest score of the rodeo. LCCC’s Ian McGivney was third in saddle bronc riding (146).

UW’s Austin Hurlburt – a former LCCC cowboy – was fourth in steer wrestling (8.7).

UW’s Justene Hirsig – a Cheyenne East graduate – and heeler Garrett Nunn were fourth in team roping (18.4).

LCCC’s Jaylee Simonson was fourth in breakaway roping (7.3), while Katie Kendrick was fifth (8.5).
