The Laramie County Community College women’s basketball team topped No. 13-ranked Midland College 66-62 on Saturday in Yuma, Arizona.

Kaysen Hobbs led the Golden Eagles with 13 points, while Sam Hester also crossed double digits with 12 points. Ella Tofaeono scored 14 for Midland and Makayla Escue scored 13.

The Golden Eagles shot 38.6% (22-57) overall and 70.6% (12-17) from the free throw line, with Ja’Kia Wells going 5-5 and Anna Terron hitting five of six. Midland shot 30.3% (23-76) overall and finished 7-16 (43.8%) from the free throw line.

The Golden Eagles host Colorado State University Club on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
