CHEYENNE – The Cheyenne Extreme under-18 girls fastpitch softball team went 3-0 during bracket play to win the TNT tournament Sunday in Arvada, Colorado.

Cheyenne (17-5-1) opened the day by beating the Denver Wildcats 8-1. The Extreme followed with a 3-2 come-from-behind win over the Northern Colorado Sting-Flores, from Loveland, Colorado.

Cheyenne trailed 2-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning when Trista Stehwien led off with a double and Kaylee Wilson drew a walk. Maggie Seghetti hit a three-run walk-off home run two pitches later to seal the win.

The Extreme used an 11-run third inning to beat the Fort Collins (Colorado) Stars-Ausmus 17-13 in the final.

Seghetti finished the day 6 for 9 with six RBIs. Wilson was 5 for 8 with a double, a home run and six RBIs. Jayden Gashler added five hits, including a home run. Stehwien and Kenzie Boltz both had four hits. Stehwien had two doubles, while Boltz added a double.
