CHEYENNE – The Cheyenne Extreme under-18 fastpitch softball team split its final games at a tournament in Gillette.

Cheyenne started the day by beating Wicked 11-3. It then fell to Gillette 4-2.

The Extreme outhit Gillette 8-5 in the loss.

Brittney Lopez was 2 for 3 at the plate with an RBI, while Jayden Gashler was 2 for 3 with a double.

Alexis Naughton was 3 for 5 with an RBI, while Jordan Harris was 3 for 5 with a triple and three RBIs.

Maggie Seghetti went 2 for 4 with a solo home run.

Michaela Moorehouse went the distance in the pitcher’s circle against Wicked, allowing just two hits in four innings to improve to 5-0 on the season. Janey Adair pitched a six-inning complete game against Gillette, striking out three while allowing five hits.
