Quarterback: Wyoming is currently undergoing a transitional period of sorts under center. Redshirt sophomore Tyler Vander Waal entered the transfer portal a couple of weeks ago, though he is still practicing with the team through the bowl game. How much he will play in the game vs. Georgia State, however, remains to be seen. Freshman Levi Williams had an impressive performance in a 20-6 loss at Air Force, completing 6 of 11 passes while running for an additional 49 yards. The situation remains murky, nonetheless. Georgia State, on the other hand, knows what it’s getting at quarterback. Senior Dan Ellington has been impressive for the Panthers this season, throwing for 2,291 yards and 21 touchdowns, with an additional 598 yards rushing. More impressive than his stats, however, is the fact Ellington is playing through a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).

Advantage: Georgia State
