LARAMIE — The body of a University of Wyoming football signee for its 2019 recruiting class has been found after going missing April 18 while boogie boarding in California.

ABC 7 News out of the Bay Area reported that the body Naphtali Moi Moi, 18, was found floating in the water off Miramontes Point in Half Moon Bay Sunday morning, and was later identified as Moi Moi. According to the television station, coroner’s officials used dental records to identify the body. The cause of death has yet to be determined.

Moi moi was a 6-foot-4, 265-pound defensive tackle from Hayward High in Hayward, California. He was rated as a two-star recruit out of five by rivals.com and 247sports.com. Moimoi recored 72 tackles and 14 quarterback sacks in his high school career.
