Redshirt sophomore Sean Chambers has been named the starting quarterback for the University of Wyoming’s season opener against Nevada.

Chambers – who started eight games in 2019 before a knee injury cost him the remainder of the season – had been in a battle this fall with redshirt freshman Levi Williams for the starting quarterback gig in 2020. Chambers led UW to a 6-2 record last season but has had season-ending injuries in each of his first two seasons.
