LARAMIE – There won’t be any two-quarterback system at the University of Wyoming for the foreseeable future. But don’t expect Sean Chambers to disappear into the shadows as he recovers from another major injury.

The redshirt sophomore quarterback and team captain suffered a fractured left fibula on the third play in the Cowboys’ season opener at Nevada. Chambers has suffered season-ending injuries in each of his previous two years as a Cowboy: in 2018, he broke his right ankle in a November matchup against Air Force, and he suffered a left knee injury that required surgery last October against the Wolf Pack.
