LARAMIE — The University of Wyoming football program received a verbal commitment Sunday from Nick Miles, a 6-foot-5, 225-pound tight end from Chaparral High in Parker, Colorado.

Miles made his announcement on his Twitter account.

Miles is the third known commitment to UW’s 2020 recruiting class, and the third from Colorado. The others were defensive ends: Braden Siders (6-3, 215) from Ralston Valley High in Arvada and Cameron Smith (6-5, 225) from Legend High in Parker.

All three will be seniors in high school this fall.

Miles received a two-star rating out of five by rivals.com. In seven games as a junior, Miles caught 13 passes for 179 yards and one touchdown. Also plays lacrosse in high school.
