LARAMIE — University of Wyoming senior running back Nico Evans will play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

The game begins at 3 p.m. and will be televised on FS1.

Evans led the Mountain West in rushing with 1,325 yards in 10 games this past season. He was a first team All-MW selection. Evans was third in the Football Bowl Subdivision with 132.5 rushing yards per game.

Evans is the third UW player to participate in a postseason all-star game. Safety Andrew Wingard will play in the 94th East-West Shrine Game Jan. 19 in St. Petersburg, Florida. That game will be at 1 p.m. and televised on the NFL Network. Defensive end Carl Granderson will play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl Jan. 26 in Mobile, Alabama. That game will kick off at 1 p.m. and also will be televised on the NFL Network.

Wingard and Granderson both were first team All-MW selections in 2018.
