LARAMIE -- A high school prospect who visited the University of Wyoming last weekend has committed to play next season for the Cowboys.

Isaac White, a 6-foot-1, 195-pound safety from Malvern Prep in Malvern, Pennsylvania, announced on Twitter Tuesday night that he will play for the Cowboys in 2020.

Although White is playing this season in Pennsylvania, he is from Denver and attended Mullen High as a junior where he was a wide receiver and defensive back. White caught 31 passes for 438 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively he recorded 33 tackles (22 solo), one tackle for loss and one interception.

White visted UW and saw last Saturday's 37-31 season-opening victory over Missouri at Jonah Field at War Memorial Stadium.

White was offered by UW in mid-February. He also had offers from Air Force, Army, Colorado State and Eastern Michigan among Football Bowl Subdivision schools. Ivy League schools Brown, Dartmouth, Pennsylvania and Yale also offered.
