Former University of Wyoming wide receiver Marcus Harris is on the ballot for the 2020 College Hall of Fame class.
The ballot of 76 players and five coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision, and 101 players and 31 coaches from lower levels of college football was announced Monday.
Harris was a two-time first team All-American for UW, and a consensus pick as a senior in 1996 when he also won the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top wide receiver. Harris finished ninth in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1996.
Harris led the nation in receiving yards twice, was the Western Athletic Conference Offensive Co-Player of the Year in 1996. He finished his career with an NCAA record 4,518 receiving yards, which is now No. 5 in the NCAA.
The 2020 class will be announced in January of 2020, and will be inducted in December of 2020 in New York City.
