LARAMIE -- Late second half highlights and postgame interviews from the University of Wyoming's 80-72 loss to Air Force in front of an announced crowd of 3,991 at the Arena-Auditorium Saturday.

UW (6-23 overall, 2-14 Mountain West) lost is sixth consecutive game, a season-high, and also set a school record for most losses in a season. Air Force improved to 13-15, 8-8.

The Cowboys trailed by as many as 10 in the second half, but was within two in the final minute of the game. Here are some key plays down the stretch from the game for both teams.

Senior guard Justin James led UW with 23 points, to go along with six rebounds and five assists. Junior guard Jake Hendricks added 18 points on 6 of 11 shooting from 3-point range. Hendricks has made 13 3-pointers in two games against Air Force this season.

Thirty-six of UW's 55 shots were 3s. And, the Cowboys had no answer for Air Force junior forward Ryan Swan, who had a career-high 37 points on 13 of 17 shooting, 4 of 6 from behind the arc and 7 of 9 from the free-throw line. Swan also had nine rebounds.

Here is James and Hendricks about that, and more, after the game.

Third-year UW coach Allen Edwards felt his team let an opportunity for a victory slip away in this game. Here is what Edwards said after the game.
