Trevon Taylor

University of Wyoming freshman guard Trevon "TJ" Taylor drives against Utah State Aggies forward Dwayne Brown Jr. during the Cowboys' 71-55 loss Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at the Arena-Auditorium in Laramie.

LARAMIE -- Postgame interviews from the University of Wyoming's 71-55 loss to Utah State in front of 3,426 at the Arena-Auditorium Saturday.

The Cowboys (4-13 overall, 0-4 Mountain West) lost their fourth consecutive game, and have dropped nine of their last 11. Utah State improved to 12-5, 2-2.

UW senior guard Justin James finished with game-highs of 27 points and 10 rebounds -- the fifth double-double of the season and 12th of his career. True freshman guard Trevon "TJ" Taylor added 14. However, no other UW player scored more than five points.

Here are James and Taylor after the game.

Third-year UW coach Allen Edwards had a lot to say about this game, and other things such as fatigue, how practice goes with only seven scholarship players and some walk-ons and the teams' plan for the upcoming week since it does not have a mid-week game. The Cowboys' next game is at New Mexico at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19.
