LARAMIE — The University of Wyoming’s regular season came to an end Saturday, as the Cowboys lost to Air Force 20-6. UW (7-5 overall, 4-4 Mountain West) previously cemented its likely bowl status with a Border War win over Colorado State. The Cowboys are bowl eligible for the fourth straight season, though they were not invited to the postseason last year. UW’s last bowl appearance was the 2017 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, where the Cowboys defeated Central Michigan 37-14.

UW senior linebacker Logan Wilson was named a first team All-American by Pro Football Focus, a popular website that grades players based on advanced metrics. Wilson has 98 total tackles this season and is a finalist for the Butkus Award, which honors the nation's top linebacker.
