LARAMIE – Despite a gut-wrenching 20-17 overtime loss at Boise State Saturday night, the University of Wyoming (6-3 overall, 3-2 Mountain West) is in position to return to a bowl game after a one-year hiatus. The Cowboys are bowl eligible for the fourth-straight season, though they were not invited to the postseason last year. UW’s last bowl appearance was the 2017 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, where the Cowboys defeated Central Michigan 37-14.
