LARAMIE — Despite losing a second straight game, the University of Wyoming football team is still in prime position to reach a bowl game. The Cowboys (6-4 overall, 3-3 Mountain West) are bowl eligible for the fourth-straight season, though they were not invited to the postseason last year. UW’s last bowl appearance was the 2017 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, where the Cowboys defeated Central Michigan 37-14.
