Cheyenne South senior-to-be Brendan Lock, City of Cheyenne directory of tennis Josh Cossitt and Cheyenne Central graduate Kelsey Hardsocg helped the Intermountain Tennis Association team place fourth at World Team Tennis Junior Nationals in San Diego.

CHEYENNE – Cheyenne Central graduate Kelsey Hardsocg and Cheyenne South senior-to-be Brendan Lock helped the Intermountain Tennis Association team place fourth at World Team Tennis Junior Nationals in San Diego.

ITA posted a 3-0 pool play record, beating teams from the Southwest, Mid-Atlantic and San Diego regions. It lost to reigning champion Southern California in the semifinals. Midwest topped the ITA in the third-place dual.

Lock was 3-0 in singles matches, 2-1 in doubles and 1-1 in mixed doubles. Hardsocg was 1-0 in singles, 1-0 in doubles and 1-1 in mixed doubles.

The team was coached by Josh Cossitt, who is the City of Cheyenne’s director of tennis.
