CHEYENNE – Cheyenne South junior Brendan Lock captured singles and doubles titles at the Memorial Day Colorado Level 5 District Cup over the weekend.

Lock, who competes on Cheyenne’s parks and recreation tournament team, picked up seven wins without dropping a set.

Lock defeated Luke Andrews of Littleton, Colorado, in the singles final 6-3, 7-1. It was Lock’s third straight singles championship while competing at Level 5.

The South standout then teamed up with Joey Geisz of Colorado Springs, Colorado, in doubles. The pair lost only two games in the tournament, and beat Nicholas Dietrich of Golden, Colorado, and Brandon Pennington of Lakewood, Colorado, 8-0 in the final.
