There weren’t many moments growing up that Trey Smith found himself starstruck. But meeting iconic rapper Jay-Z certainly did the trick.

Smith, a sixth-year graduate transfer running back for the University of Wyoming, is the son of former Jacksonville Jaguars All-Pro wide receiver Jimmy Smith. The elder Smith put together a borderline NFL Hall of Fame résumé: 862 catches, 12,287 yards, 67 receiving touchdowns and five Pro Bowl appearances over a 13-year career.
