CHEYENNE — The Cheyenne Gymnastics team swept its competition for the second straight year at the Wyoming state gymnastics competition in Lander last Friday and Saturday.Â
The Bronze team earned 12 individual first-place finishes. Taya Thompson and Reese Gray took home All-Around gold medals in the Junior C and Senior B age groups, respectively.
The Silver team earned 18 first-place finishes, with Kinley Mikowsky (Junior B), Finley Cralley (Junior C), Peyton Hoard (Senior B) and Kaleia Kling (Senior C) taking home All-Around gold medals.
The Gold team took home 13 first-place titles. D'Saitrya Woody and Aviah Edwards won All-Around gold medals in Junior A and Senior B age groups, respectively. Hannah Pollock and Ciarra Vigil won All-Around golds in Xcel Diamond and Xcel Sapphire, as well.
Aviah Edwards, Lola Hickox, Jadyn Martin, Michayla Maxey, Zoey Salas, Charlie Soules, Addison Walters and D’Saitrya Woody will represent Cheyenne Gymnastics at the Xcel Gold Regional Championship in Aurora, Colorado, on May 3-5.
Bridget Dillow and Hannah Pollock will represent Cheyenne Gymnastics at the Xcel Diamond Regional Championship in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 26-28.
