BOYS BASKETBALL: Herring leads Southeast past Burns

The Cyclones led 46-17 at halftime.

“We struggled in the first two quarters,” first-year Burns coach Kurtis Suloff said. “They got in passing lanes and disrupted a lot of what we were trying to do. We also came out not very aggressive.

“In the second half, we came out aggressive and were able to make a couple of runs and we executed much better.”

Senior Kaden Lakin led Burns with 12 points.
