GIRLS SWIMMING: Brownell wins two events for Central

Brownell finished the 50 in 25.85 seconds, and the 500 in 5 minutes, 43.16 seconds.

Junior Taylor Gebhart won the 200 free (2:13.05) and senior Alyssa Samuelson won the 100 free (1:00.53). Sophomore Brinkley Lewis posted the top score in 1-meter diving (223 points).

Freshman Sydni Sawyer took second in the 200 individual medley (2:22.90).

The 200 medley relay team of seniors Gladys Eggers and Hannah Birge and juniors Shelby Cavanaugh and Abby Allen placed first in 2:06.11. Samuelson, Sawyer and freshmen Izzy DeLay and Emily Meares won the 200 free relay (1:50.74).
