CHEYENNE – Four turnovers proved costly for the Bison during a 49-0 loss to visiting Campbell County on Friday night at Bison Stadium.
The last of those turnovers was returned 45 yards for a touchdown by Brady Tompkins.
Will Miller had touchdown runs of 16, 40 and 41 yards. Miller finished with 164 yards on 14 carries.
Xander Beeson caught a 21-yard touchdown from Kaden Race, while Ian Carter and Colter Rankin both had rushing touchdowns for the Camels (1-2).
South (0-3)got 77 rushing yards from junior quarterback Braeden Hughes. Gabe Trujillo led the way defensively with eight tackles (two solo and one for loss).
The Bison host Cheyenne Central at 6 p.m. Friday.

CHEYENNE – Sophomore quarterback Stu Lerwick passed for 168 yards and three touchdowns to help Pine Bluffs to a 34-18 victory over visiting Saratoga.
Ty Sweeter caught three passes for 116 yards and three touchdowns. Andrew Loya rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.
Diego Paniagua had 14 tackles (four solo) for the Hornets (2-1).
