CHEYENNE – Ainsley Basich scored the game-winning goal in the 59th minute to deliver a 2-1 win for Cheyenne Central over Campbell County on Saturday in Gillette.
Zoe Lam tallied the opening goal in the ninth minute off a feed from Faith Meredith, who had two assists for the Lady Indians.
“Our possession slowed for us to control the tempo of the game,” Central coach Jeff Norman said. “(Campbell County) was exhausted in the last 20 minutes, and we took advantage of that with multiple scoring opportunities.”
Campbell County scored its lone goal in the 51st minute against Central goalkeeper Miranda Hinkle, who made three saves.

CHEYENNE – DeLaney Hallcroft and Grace Ros-wadovsky both scored three goals to help the No. 1-ranked Thunder Basin to a 13-0 victory Saturday afternoon in Gillette.
Kennedy Ayers added two goals as eight different players scored for Thunder Basin, according to the Gillette News-Record.
