Taliah Morris, a senior, won the 55- and 200-meter dashes and long jump at the Class 4A state indoor track and field meet. She set state records in the 200 and long jump to help Cheyenne East win its first state championship since 2012. Maggie Madsen, a freshman, won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200. They accounted for 63.5 of the Lady Thunderbirds' 99.5 team points.
