CHEYENNE – The Salt Lake City Gulls scored two runs in the first and fourth innings to pull away from Cheyenne American Legion Post 6 for a 5-2 win Friday at the Pacific Mountain Invitational in Denver.

Cheyenne’s Max Pedroza hit an RBI single to score Finley Hastings in the fifth. Pedroza then scored on Jackson Hesford’s fielder’s choice in the seventh.
