Cheyenne Youth League: Registration for the 2024 Cheyenne Youth Baseball League season has started.
The league is for 13- to 20-year-olds.
The registration fee is $300 per player, which can be paid all at once or in monthly installments.

Cheerleading
East winter youth clinic: The Cheyenne East spirit program will hold its annual winter youth clinic from 4-6 p.m. Jan. 31 at East High.
The performance will be at halftime of the Lady Thunderbirds’ basketball game Feb. 3.
The cost is $50 per participant. Each athlete from the same household is $40. Participants must be registered by Monday, Jan. 22.

Cornhole
City league: Registration for the city of Cheyenne’s cornhole league ends Feb. 15.
The registration fee is $35 for singles or $60 for doubles teams. The season includes six weeks of league play and a single-elimination tournament.
Singles will play at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, and doubles will compete at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays.
The season runs March 18 through May.

Dodgeball
City adult co-rec: Registration for the city of Cheyenne’s adult co-rec dodgeball league ends Feb. 15.
The cost is $180 per team, and each team is guaranteed eight games, which are played Monday-Thursday evenings at the Youth Activity and Community Center at David R. Romero South Cheyenne Community Park, 1317 Parsley Blvd.
The season starts April 1, and tentatively runs until May 30.

Football
Girls flag: Registration for the city of Cheyenne’s girls flag football league starts Feb. 5.
The league is for girls in sixth through 12th grades. The cost is $65 per player. Games will start May 11. Teams will get six games, a team shirt, team picture and participation award.

Lacrosse
Cheyenne youth teams: Cheyenne Youth Lacrosse is currently registering athletes for its 2024 teams.
The Tornadoes expect to field under-10, under-12, under-14 and high school age boys teams, and under-12 and high school girls teams. The season runs March through late May.
The registration fee is $75. Registration can be completed at CheyenneLax.com.

Soccer
LCCC winter academy: The Laramie County Community College men’s soccer program will hold its annual Golden Eagles Winter Soccer Academy on Jan. 21, Jan. 28, Feb. 11, Feb. 18 and Feb. 25 at Cheyenne South High.
The academy is for girls and boys 5-16 years old. The cost is $80 per athlete. Each additional athlete from the same household is $50.
There are two sessions for 5- to 10-year-olds: 12-12:50 p.m. and 1-1:50 p.m. Each session is limited to 36 athletes.
The session for 11- to 16-year-olds is 2-2:50 p.m. Some 10-year-olds will be allowed in this session, which is limited to 36 athletes.

Adult futsal: Registration for the Cheyenne YMCA’s adult co-rec futsal league ends Feb. 9.
Games run Feb. 25-April 7 from 9-10 a.m. on Sundays. Games will be played 5-on-5 in 20-minute halves. There is no practice, and teams are limited to eight players on their roster.
The cost is $50 for YMCA members and $60 for non-members.

Softball
Adult leagues: Registration for the city of Cheyenne’s women’s and men’s softball leagues starts Feb. 12.
The cost is $500 per team, plus a $20-per-player field use fee. The season runs May-August.

Youth officials training: Registration for the city of Cheyenne’s youth volleyball officials training ends Feb. 15.
The training will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Youth Activity and Community Center at David R. Romero Park, 1317 Parsley Blvd.
Training will cover proper mechanics, making the correct call and game management.
