CHEYENNE – Bricen Baktamarian won both light rifle and trap shooting at the Wyoming High School Rodeo Association's stop in Rock Springs.
Baktamarian scored 307 points in light rifle and 97 during trap shooting. He is the WYHSRA leader in both events this season.
Kael Lissman placed third in trap shooting with 93.5 points. He is fourth on the season. Trigg Thompson was fifth with 92 points.
Cheyenne's Brenson Bartlett placed second in bull riding during Sunday's rodeo, scoring 65 points. He leads the WYHSRA's season standings.
Pine Bluffs' Ty Scarborough scored 50 points to take second in saddle bronc Sunday. He is second in the season standings.
Colin Kofron placed second in tie-down on Saturday, stopping the clock in 15.24 seconds.
On Saturday, heeler Grady Watkins of Cheyenne and header Kylynn Hegge of Mills placed third in team roping (8.45 seconds).
During the junior high portion of the rodeo, Cheyenne heeler Tripp Thompson and Yoder header Turek Thompson won team roping (11.05). Tripp Thompson was fourth in light rifle shooting. He his tied for second in light rifle this season and is a solo second in boys breakaway roping.
Pine Bluffs' Tuf Scarborough is second in the chute dogging season standings.
