Amanda Winchester is the director of the meat science program at Central Wyoming College, CWC noted Friday. A news release said the school is launching the program this fall. Students can get an associate of science degree. A meat processing certificate is also offered, in a one-semester program. Meat science program classes start Aug. 22. Winchester started at CWC in February 2021, her school biography says. “She has been involved in meat judging individually and as a coach for more than 40 years. Before coming to CWC to teach meat science and agriculture, she owned a business in Lander, Main Street Books and Himark Rentals.”
